Michelangelo’s Apollo (or David) is an unfinished statue from 1530. My initial project was to create a 24” replica that remained faithful to the original. I used a scale model and photographs that I took of the original in the Bargello Museum in Florence. The figure manifests his non finito quality with the tooth chisel and point chisel used over the entire surface.
